Hi! I'm not sure if you remember me, but I used to be a fairly active on Freedom Reborn and I'm a former member of NPI. I stopped skinning throughout my college years, but now that I've graduated I've found I've got more free time. As such, I've been killing a lot of time skinning away at some of my favorite characters. Eternal thanks to Housequake for giving me a boost as a member of NPI back in the day and for generally being my favorite community leader.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! Actually HQ I've got my own hosting now. You can check out what I've been working on for the past four years on my website: ewzzy.com and read my blog at blog.ewzzy.com. I'm posting all my skins there. In fact you can download Dr McNinja already. Oh and Vertex: 20 on the double? I've got 9 more coming down the pipe starting on Monday. I'll see if I can get the other 10 done soon.

First skin down the pipe: Solitaire Download and learn more.Much apologies to those who use the original FF but my skins all include skoped/hexed meshes that only work on FFV3R. As a bonus though, Hero/FFXpy files are included in each zip.

I always did have a problem replying to myself... Here's my current WIP to continue my Dr McNinja family. Dan McNinja I really just have his legs left to do. The boots are left over from the Luke Skywalker skin. I want to skin Dr McNinja's sidekick Gordito. He's a kid who grew a mustache out of sheer willpower and wields his dead father's six shooters. I'm not sure what mesh I should use for him. Then I want to skin his younger brother Sean "Dark Smoke Puncher" McNinja. He's basically his day but smaller and with a baseball cap. Potentially with Nunchucks. Any ideas on what mesh I should use for him?

...oh my God. These skins have made my day.
The mustache looks appropriately authoritative. Nice job!

@Gremlin: I'm sure you understand how much time was spent on that mustache. It such a small space to pack in such authority. Here's an update. I swapped out the ninja sword for the bo-staff he received from the Vatican to fight the ghost wizard. The gameplay upshot of this is it helps differentiate him from his son in the rumble room. Now, to continue with my ongoing Ultraverse releases: DOWNLOAD PRIMEPrime was my second skin when I started back up. There's a few things I would change to clean him up, but I'd say he's good to go.

Hey Ewzzy, if you're looking for some specific meshes, I'd check out a program called NifSkope. It's basically a graphical hex editor, that allows copying and pasting form one mesh to another. Like Dark Smoke Puncher, for example, coulbe essentially be the same mesh as Dan, with the male_basic frame replaced with Renegade's Patriot male_basic (which is about teen-sized), and a ballcap from... somewhere. Sorry, I'm at work, and I don't have my FF stuff in fromt of me. Here's a link to the basic ins and outs of Nifskope: http://frworld.wikispaces.com/IntroNifSkope

@Hitman: Actually started skoping right away for my skins. It's amazing what you can do. Things that would have taken a half hour hexing in the old days take five minutes now. I don't have an actual avatar skin anymore so I thought I would whip one up. One thing led to another, and I spent all day working on this, but I'm still not sure. I'm not settled on the design and colors and more importantly the head just doesn't seem complete. What do you guys think I should do? PS: Ignore the gun's odd rotation. I'm using Lord Ehmsidy's Matrix mesh modified to work with Jik's xcom_male_light_pistol animations. The gun had to be rotated to aim correctly and it just looks weird when the hand is open.

NEW RELEASE DOWNLOAD ATOM-BOBWorst named hero to turned out to be a villain possible. I'm scoping together a Dark Smoke Puncher mesh. I'm still working on my Avatar. I'm basically done, but I don't know if I like the direction I took myself in. It's too 90's-tastic. What kind of hero am I anyway?

Honestly.. kinda 'meh' on the over all avatar design.
there doesn't seam to be a balance. He has upper body armor... but his knee caps could be blasted off (if he couldn't see it before it happened of course). Basically IMO go with a design which evokes full, but lightweight body armor... or none at all. Although the pleather look may work as well.

Personally, I kinda dig your older, pulpish avatar. I think it'd be neat to see something like that, infused with a little bit of the hi-tech elements. That's just me.
Oh, and great Dark Smoke Puncher!

I think you're both right. The costume isn't all that well designed. It's based too heavily on one of my last designs from when I was in highschool. I need to decide on what I really want my character to be. Sad that I spent so long packing in so much detail only to realize this now. Oh well! Time for a new release! DOWNLOAD HARDCASEUpdate on my McNinja family efforts. Gordito is up next!

We'll see how good my skoping is to make that happen. Till then I can show you his rider. Gordito! Just a preview.

Out of curiosity, how did you make Gordito? I notice he's got kind of a Teen_Tall build, but those appear to be a MB set of keys. Did you hex down the mesh to match via the skin instance and/or biped nodes, or is there something I'm missing?

I spent over an hour trying to find a good way to do it. Most teen meshes react poorly to MB keys and the hexed ones at FXForce are straight up broken. Beyonder's male_basic_teen_tall doesn't stretch much so I replaced Renegades' Vigilante base with it in Nifskope. It looks alright at that point but he's too tall. I ran into trouble making him shorter and moving all of the stuff to fit as the guns wouldn't stay in his hands. I ended up shrinking the root so he would be the right height. Then it was a matter of moving the bandanna to fit better and I stole a "wing" from FV for the mustache. I'd rather have an actual sculpted piece, but when all else fails there's always alpha channels!
